Serving California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, the West, and Mexico, West Coast Turf has spent decades growing and installing high-quality natural grass sod and stolons for golf courses and sports facilities. Our work is built on long relationships in the industry and a focus on supplying natural grass that plays well, holds up under pressure, and fits the environment it’s grown for. We work directly with superintendents, architects, builders, and contractors from planning through installation. Our lineup includes natural grass varieties that handle the tough conditions of the West—heat, limited water, heavy traffic, and a wide range of soil types. Coachella Bermuda® is one of our newest options, bred for drought tolerance, a deep green color, and strong density and recovery. It performs consistently on fairways, tees, and high-wear areas where reliability matters. We also grow Platinum TE Paspalum, a very adaptable warm-season grass known for its color and durability. It performs well in many environments and works with different irrigation sources, including reclaimed or lower-quality water, giving courses flexibility without sacrificing appearance or playability. For warm-season greens, we offer TifEagle® and Tif3D™, both fine-textured grasses that provide smooth, fast, and consistent putting surfaces in warm and transitional climates. Ready Play Grass® is another important part of what we do. It’s a mature, ready-to-use natural grass system that allows for immediate play, which is valuable for renovations, tournament prep, or repairs where downtime isn’t an option. Courses use it to solve problems quickly and keep surfaces uniform. We also grow Tahoma 31®, TifTuf®, Bandera Bermuda®, Stadium Zoysia®, and several bentgrass varieties for cool-season greens. Contract grows are available for projects that need specific varieties or schedules. From new construction to renovations, tees, fairways, greens complexes, and practice areas, we stay involved throughout the process to make sure the natural grass is grown right, delivered on time, and installed correctly.
