Whether the problem is compaction and poor drainage or accumulated layering, the result of Drill and Fill aerification is improved turf quality. Deep drilling to a maximum depth of 18” breaks through the layer and greatly improves drainage. Drill aerification is also effective in reducing “iron layer” problems.
