We harness the power of film & storytelling to EDUCATE, INSPIRE COMMUNITY IMPACT AND INFORM PUBLIC POLICY CHANGE around water. Through festivals and screening events around the world we are amplifying the issues and solutions for water and are looking for partnerships, sponsors and support as we program 2026 culminating in our participation at the next UN Water Conference in the UAE! WEF Charities of Choice – Operators Without Borders
Many thanks to WEF for making Operators Without Borders (OWB) a Charities of Choice! OWB provides volunteer certified water and wastewater operators and other trained professionals who can support utilities in developing countries following emergency and disaster situations to ensure that safe drinking water and wastewater management services are resumed. OWB further assists by providing volunteer certified operators and other trained professionals to mentor and train developing countries’ utilities water and wastewater operators. We have recently worked and/or currently working throughout the Caribbean, Peru, Ukraine, Kenya, Nigeria, and the Philippines.

WaterOperator.org is a free online service supporting water and wastewater operators and industry professionals managed at the University of Illinois. ALL operator training events for the United States are listed on one, easy to use calendar that can be searched by state, topic, or organization. There are also links to about 15,000 free, publicly available resources to support operators on every imaginable topic related to water and wastewater operations, gathered from nearly 1000 organizations that include operator and trade associations, state agencies, federal agencies, and other sources all vetted by our staff.
