Breakin-Glass and Rescue Redefined
The Shield is a line of hard and soft protection. Designed to protect patients and rescuers. Glass fragments and pieces of sharp metal and broken plastic can quickly fly across a vehicle during vehicle extrication and technical rescue situations, risking further injury to the patients and rescuers. Rescuers can inadvertently slip with reciprocating saws, haligans or other tools while working near the patient. Rescuers can also be injured from flying debris when materials fracture and separate.
