The separations of these locations allow us to continue harvesting should one or more of these bogs be affected by inclement weather. Presently, only 30% of our bogs are in production. This small percentage of prepared areas provides us with the ability to harvest peat for many years with assurances of continued andconsistent quality sphagnum peat. With our company having been present in the growing industry for quite a few decades, thename Lambert is synonymous both to the retail and professional users. The consistent supply of both “Blond” and “Brown” peat is an important factor in the formulationof peat blends especially mixes.
