Signal Scout
Would you like Signal Troubleshooting to be easier? Signal Scout simplifies this process with the use of software! No more need for you to combine the logged or live status information with the application program logic, our software will do this all for you. Just take a look at our color-coded display to easily identify where the issues originate from. Signal Scout is mostly used during maintenance to quickly review past events, during cutovers to see what is happening live and for new employee training to avoid having to train them on the various different signal controllers. Signal Scout can give you the ability to troubleshoot remotely, which means that managers or supervisors can assist their team from home or the office without even having to go out to the field. So come by booth 1055 if you would like to save yourself or your team the frustration of old-fashioned troubleshooting and let us show you the quick and easy way to get to the root of the problem! Signal Scout has three different modes to fit any scenario. LogView is to troubleshoot PAST events. You can select a specific moment in the past and see what was happening at that time. Most people use this after receiving a trouble call to go to that specific time window and see what was going on. By only looking at the time during or shortly before the issue occurred, you find yourself only looking at the essential data, which makes it much easier to get a quick overview. LiveView shows the CURRENT status of all equations, inputs, and outputs. This mode is generally used during cutovers or to check if everything is working correctly after maintenance work has been done. Watching live what is happening gives you the ability to make changes quickly, helping you to stay within your cutover window. TrainingMode is to help teach relay logic. Some companies use it to teach their new employees, others to review a trouble call with the whole team to identify what went wrong. The benefit of TrainingMode is that you can create specific scenarios and have timers run, so you can review whatever is needed. The newest version includes the ability to automatically download the logs as well as make screen recordings to review at a later time or to share with others to show what happened at a certain time. Signal Scout currently works with ElectroLogIXS, VHLC, iVPI and Microlok II. This means that if you have any of these signal controllers, Signal Scout will work for that part of your system. You don’t need to have these kinds on your whole system for it to work. If you have a mix of different controllers, you might be happy to learn that Signal Scout will display all these controllers in the same way, eliminating the need to be able to troubleshoot all the different systems individually. —Raffle to win a year-long license to Signal Scout!—

Pintsch North America Inc.
Railroad Signaling built around axle counting. The Pintsch (Tiefenbach) wheel sensors have been in service with all the Class 1 Railroads for over 25 years and our parent company has been operating all of the world for over 180 years. Our applications include Grade Crossing Protection, AEI Readers, Hump Classification yards automation, Red Light Overrun Detection, Switch Protection, Shunt Enhancer, Annunciator Automation, Trap Circuits, Interlocking Systems, and the Next Problem that you have that you cannot solve with a traditional track circuit. Our sensors can overlay existing circuits with no interference or in conjunction with. For example, our systems can be used as an Island replacement on existing crossing protections where the Island will not hold up due to a contaminated crossing. We build systems for the simplest crossings to the most complex of crossing configurations. Add our new SPK10 gate mechanism to your system and you have a complete crossing system that is reliable with minimal maintenance. We provide vital switch protection in a small din rail configuration which in combination with our switch machine from Wolber with provide you with a reliable switch operation and protection like no other. We also offer a line of Signals for many applications. Pintsch North America offers Signal Design applications around axle counting. If you have a problem and need a solution, just ask. If you have a need for an application that is not offered by anyone, just ask. If you have a complex track layout that you are trying to protect or need indication of train presence, just ask. We custom design systems around your needs.
