GF Piping Systems

GF Piping Systems is the global expert for the safe and reliable transportation of water, chemicals and gases. The company specializes in plastic piping systems that include a full range of plastic pipe, fittings, valves, actuators, fusion machines, secondary containment, and sensors and instrumentation for industrial process control system solutions. A full range of services including engineering support, fabrication and custom products provides support for all project phases. GF Piping Systems is active in 34 countries and operates over 30 production locations around the world. The new COOL-FIT® PE Plus pre-insulated polyethylene piping system from GF Piping Systems, the next evolution of the COOL-FIT product line, offers a technological leap in process cooling. The new system builds on the excellent performance of its predecessor by providing even higher thermal efficiency, significantly reduced maintenance and operational costs, and faster installation time. The system is ideal for food and beverage production, pharmaceutical production, refrigerated storage facilities, data centers, dairies, fruit and vegetable processors, slaughterhouses, breweries and supermarkets. COOL-FIT PE Plus includes a complete range of pre-insulated pipe, fittings, valves and hoses that efficiently convey brine, glycol, ethanol, and cooled water in temperatures from 58°F to 140°F (60°C to -50°C). All surfaces are sealed and vapor tight and 100% UV-resistant. The system is 100% maintenance-free and will not corrode over time. These characteristics reduce expensive operation interruptions and maintenance. COOL-FIT PE Plus offers up to 25% more energy efficiency than competitive systems. This is accomplished with low heat conductivity from its plastic construction and its robust foam insulation. The smooth interior surface of the medium pipe prevents deposit build-ups to ensure reliability and eliminate pressure loss. Insulation on both fittings and pipe are bonded together, preventing condensation build-up between the two. The COOL-FIT PE Plus system has both insulation foam and an outer jacket manufactured at the factory, which eliminates traditional post-insulation work at the construction site and significantly reduces installation time. Further installation ease is accomplished by the fact that it weighs just a fraction of metal solutions, allowing roof mounting in locations often problematic for other systems. The number of hangers and supports needed is also minimized. Use of electrofusion joining technology is fast, simple and user-friendly and eliminates the need for solvent cement or VOC approvals. | GF Piping Systems is active in 34 countries and operates over 30 production locations around the world. The company is a leading supplier of piping systems and instrumentation for the safe and reliable transport of liquids for industrial process control. Its thermoplastic systems feature non-corroding, energy-efficient, maintenance-free performance. Industries like food and beverage, cold storage, semiconductor, chemical processing and many others have found thermoplastics to be an excellent alternative to the frequent replacement costs of metal and stainless-steel piping, which corrode and scale over time, and are unwieldy in overhead installations. COOL-FIT® PE Plus is a complete pre-insulated plastic piping system ideally suited for glycol, chilled water and brine. COOL-FIT® PE Plus handles fluid temperatures as low as 58°F and will not corrode inside or out. It is UV resistant, lightweight, 100% water and vapor tight and features maintenance-free operation with a life span of 25+ years. | GF Piping Systems is part of Switzerland-based Georg Fischer Ltd.’s North American Piping Systems business unit.
