TOWING Expands U.S. Field Trials with Soratan to Advance Regenerative Farming After launching activities in the U.S. in 2024, TOWING is making steps toward regenerative agriculture. Following promising third-party tomato trial results in California, the company has initiated a large-scale field trial in partnership with a commercial process tomato grower in Dixon, California. The trial spans 8 acres and aims to demonstrate the potential of Soratan, TOWING’s high-performance soil amendment, to improve nitrogen use efficiency and reduce dependency on chemical fertilizers which achieves rapid soil improvement for regenerative agriculture. The trial focuses on leveraging organic nitrogen derived from compost, aligning with regenerative practices that enrich soil health, reduce environmental impact, and support long-term agricultural sustainability. Soratan is well-suited for vegetable crops including leafy greens, onions, and potatoes. Its ability to optimize the availability of organic nitrogen makes it an attractive solution for growers seeking higher yields while maintaining soil integrity. TOWING is currently accepting inquiries for 2026 season trials. Growers and partners interested in participating are encouraged to contact at s.okishio@towing.co.jp for more information.
