The highest quality nuts or organic seeds are selected, hand-roasted in cast iron kettles when appropriate, mechanically pressed with a hydraulic press, and lightly filtered. These elegant oils each have their own unique flavors and the careful extraction process means all the oil soluble nutrients naturally present in the seeds or nuts are protected. From this humble beginning, La Tourangelle has greatly expanded its collection to include all the best oils a sophisticated cook needs. From our organic extra-virgin olive oils to our avocado oils, all our oils are made following the same strict adherence to high quality standards and a passion for excellence. Much of Aloha Shoyu’s consumer base were also loyal customers of Malolo and Aloha Shoyu already possessed the infrastructure and expertise in production to enhance and keep the syrup brand alive in Hawaii. From this acquisition along with Aloha Shoyu’s existing bottling division, Aloha Packaging and Supplies was born. Although transitioning to a new venture is always trying and difficult, Aloha Packaging and Supplies has been able to capture a significant market in the restaurant supplies sector in Hawaii. Over the past six years, Aloha Packaging and Supplies went from servicing primarily Oahu customers to being able to service customers nationally.
