Xcell Therapeutics Inc.

Company Overview: Xcell Therapeutics Inc. Leading the Global Standard in Chemically Defined Media for Regenerative Medicine Xcell Therapeutics (KOSDAQ: 373110) is a pioneering biotechnology company dedicated to providing the foundational technology for the next generation of Cell and Gene Therapies (CGT). We specialize in the development and mass production of high-performance, Chemically Defined (CD) media, offering a safer and more efficient alternative to traditional animal-derived or human-blood-based culture environments. As the first company in the world to commercialize CD media for Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs), our flagship brand CellCor™ is engineered to meet the rigorous demands of the global biopharmaceutical industry. By utilizing only high-purity synthetic components and recombinant proteins, CellCor™ eliminates the inherent risks of viral contamination and batch-to-batch inconsistency associated with serum-based media. This ensures predictable, high-quality cell expansion, which is critical for successful clinical outcomes and large-scale cGMP manufacturing. Building on our core expertise in MSCs, Xcell Therapeutics is actively expanding its influence in the immune cell therapy market. We are proudly promoting our advanced media solutions specifically optimized for Immune Cells, such as T-cells and NK-cells, as well as Exosome recovery. Our technology is designed to accelerate the transition from bench to bedside, providing regulatory-friendly solutions that streamline the path to commercialization for our global partners. Xcell Therapeutics is not just a supplier, but a strategic partner in bioprocessing innovation. XBM USA LLC

Founded in 2020 and over the past 5 years, Xponential Battery Materials (XBM USA) has been working to develop CarbonX™, a superior, sustainable lithium-sulfur (Li-S) Cathode Active Material (CAM). The company is working with US OEMs developing next-generation high-performance and low-weight eAreospace and EV battery applications. CarbonX pairs step-change performance with a fully domestic, low-risk supply chain, offering ~2× the cathode capacity vs today’s NMC or LFP cathodes at ~40–50% lower $/kWh, using abundant U.S. industrial byproducts, (sulfur from petroleum refining and tannin/lignin from paper and pulping), as core base materials that helps mitigate polysulfide shuttle, enabling stable high-capacity operation and longer cycle life. The result is a circular-economy CAM manufactured entirely in the United States and sourced across the Americas. CarbonX’s ~40% cathode savings can translate to up to ~25% reduction in total battery cell cost. XBM expects initial commercial deployments in eAreospace, EV and consumer battery markets.
