At WolfRayet our mission is to apply design and technology to manufacturing. We deliver complete systems for powder coating heat sensitive substrates as well as gel and full cure ovens for the metal industry. The WolfRayet Galaxy Lyte system is an easy to use, entry level oven. It allows low volume coaters to achieve a high quality coating finish. Galaxy Lyte systems will work on heat sensitive substrates such MDF and engineered timber as well as metal substrates. It is ideal for single coat or powder priming prior to a liquid topcoat. The Galaxy Lyte system has an extremely small plant footprint. With low operating costs, it is a dual purpose system, ideal for both heat sensitive and metal parts. Galaxy Lyte utilizes a gas catalytic IR preheat oven followed by manual powder application delivering a cost effective and efficient production process. The WolfRayet Galaxy 6, 8 and 10 systems are designed for medium to large scale operations – the 6, 8 & 10 refers to the line speed in feet per minute. The system is completely customizable depending on the output requirements and the plant space available. Part size is not an issue. The systems can process small complex parts like draw fronts to large 8’ x 4’ sheet material. Each will receive a consistent, quality coat and cure. Our technology also ensures that the structure of the substrate is never compromised and the system has efficient load, preheat, coat, cure, cool down and unload areas. Gas Catalytic IR technology is at the heart of our PLC controlled systems for both the Galaxy Lyte and Galaxy series. This high tech, low operating cost solution, delivers a perfect, cost effective cure. Our systems are designed to integrate seamlessly with all equipment and powder manufacturers and we collaborated with partners in these areas to develop our unique approach. This includes powder application, curing and overhead conveyors. Check out our exciting new Galaxy ovens and talk with technical experts to discover how to reduce costs, increases efficiencies, improve your coating and sustainability footprint AND futureproof your line to coat metal and heat sensitive substrates.

IFS Coatings
PureClad Powder Coatings are transforming the wood and MDF coating market with a tough, durable protection, and gorgeous finish and an impressive sustainability footprint. IFS Coatings’ PureClad powder range offers a choice of low-cure powder chemistries that will deliver outstanding technical performance, including excellent adhesion, scratch, mar and peel resistance, water resistance and flexibility. The PureClad range consists of powder primers and single coat powder topcoat solutions. PureClad powder primers offer a single coat primer solution, delivering excellent technical performance with the ability to increase throughput and reduce time and energy. PureClad primers will accept a powder or liquid top coat and deliver excellent water resistance, chemical resistance and stain resistance. PureClad primers also deliver good sandability and flexibility to accommodate the deformation of wood that occurs over time. PureClad X is a single coat application with superior application characteristics and excellent technical performance. PureClad X powder topcoats will deliver excellent water, cleaning product and stain resistance as well as good edge outgassing forgiveness and the ability to maintain flexibility overtime, without brittleness. These smooth, beautiful powders are also resistant to yellowing and have great outdoor weathering capabilities. Unlike traditional low-cure chemistry, with PureClad there’s no need to compromise on production speed, efficiency, or technical performance. The process of coating and curing is completed quickly – in only about 10 minutes – an extremely favorable comparison with competing products. The cure process, which takes as little as 6 minutes in a catalytic IR oven at only 265F°, is sufficiently low to accommodate standard MDF as well as many natural wood materials. It is also designed with the flexibility necessary to accommodate the deformation of wood that occurs overtime, especially in humid environments with significant temperature variation, such as kitchens and bathrooms. High line densities, fast application and curing and the ability to coat complex shapes are all possible They are also easy to apply, displaying excellent flow, which results in a beautiful finish. PureClad powders exhibit excellent temperature stability and can be safely stored at room temperatures. PureClad powder coatings also offer a more environmentally responsible choice. PureClad powders have no harmful VOC emissions and have the lowest carbon footprint of any industrial coating technology. Powders cure at lower temperatures thus reducing energy consumption. With sustainability at the forefront of product design, this is an exciting benefit. Technical performance and aesthetic properties are equally important. PureClad powder coatings are available in a range of colors and can be formulated to achieve a variety of textures and effects that other finishing options simply cannot achieve. As such, PureClad powders can be used on a huge array of end use applications, which include, but are not limited to cabinetry, furniture, residential cladding, moldings, and wood doors. IFS Coatings are the powder experts, only manufacturing powder coatings, with all R&D knowledge, expertise and expenditure focused on powder. Talk to the professional team at IWF
