In addition to our superior customer satisfaction, our dedication to research, discovery, quality, and dependability is unparalleled. | Shin-Etsu is on the forefront of developing new process technologies that help transfer parts and other materials involved in the manufacturing of Micro LED displays. With the size of a Micro LED chip being less than 50 micrometers and invisible to the naked eye, nearly 25 million chips can be needed to make one, high-quality, 4K display that has four times the resolution of a conventional high-definition screen. Because of this, new processes and equipment are needed to implement improvements in the complexity and yield ratio in the processes of Micro LED chip manufacturing. Taking advantage of our unique materials technologies, Shin-Etsu Group companies have proceeded to develop various advanced innovative transfer equipment and parts to solve the key manufacturing challenges of Micro LED display manufacturing. For example, employing our technology that utilizes laser equipment to transfer a singulated anisotropic conductive film (ACF) onto a targeted location makes the Micro LED manufacturing repair process much easier. In addition, we have developed many transfer parts and equipment to help meet the requests of our customers in improving productivity and working with a wide array of chips. These parts combined allow us to offer the most optimized manufacturing process to our customers and be seen as a “One-stop Shop” in Micro LED manufacturing. – SQDP-B Series (Cure type donor plate) – EZ-PETAMP Series (6-inch, multi-stage dot-type large stamp) – Invisi LUM-X4 (4-in-1 system making it possible to perform 4 processes using 1 laser) – BM encapsulant film for Mini LED displays | Shin-Etsu MicroSi is a driving force in both the semiconductor and microelectronics industries worldwide. Pyromeral Technology

Pyromeral Technology’s high-temperature composite materials bridge the thermal, structural, and cost gap between carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRPs) and conventional ceramic matrix composites (CMCs). The Pyromeral material family offers a lightweight and simple-to-process alternative to other materials for heat shields, exhaust ducts, radomes, and components exposed to sustained temperatures from 400°F to 2000°F and beyond. Marketed under the names PyroKarb, PyroSic, and PyroXide, Pyromeral materials bring the benefits of composites to high-temperature applications. Their proprietary geopolymer ceramic matrices differ significantly from both organic polymers and conventional ceramic matrices: they can be processed with a low temperature autoclave cure and a single free standing post cure, they can be laid-up or molded in net or near-net shapes, and no densification or infiltration is required. This simplifies manufacturing, shortens lead times, and improves cost efficiency. PyroKarb, reinforced with high-modulus carbon fiber, and PyroSic, reinforced with silicon carbide fiber, maintain structural integrity at continuous temperatures of 1000°F and 1500°F, respectively. PyroKarb offers up to 60% weight savings over titanium, while PyroSic delivers up to 75% weight savings compared to Inconel. PyroXide, a proprietary geopolymer ceramic matrix reinforced with aluminum-oxide fiber, extends temperature resistance up to 2000°F—and as high as 3000°F for short durations. Its excellent radio frequency transparency makes it ideal for high-temperature nose cones and RF apertures. In exhaust nozzle applications, PyroXide saves up to 70% weight compared to Inconel. For 2025 Pyromeral is proud to announce successful production of PyroXide in towpreg format, enabling filament winding for conical and tubular components. Towpreg versions of PyroKarb and PyroSic are in development and will follow shortly. This advancement expands part fabrication options while reducing cost and production time. Pyromeral materials serve a wide range of industries, including engine heat shielding, hypersonic fins and external skins, and battery thermal runaway protection in the advanced air mobility sector. Pyromeral Technology US is headquartered in Sunnyvale, CA, and is ITAR registered and certified to AS9100D and ISO 9001 standards.
