Bodine Electric

Since 1905, the family-owned Bodine Electric Company has been a leader in small motor and gearmotor design and manufacturing, helping thousands of customers solve motion control challenges when designing their machinery. Most of Bodine’s ISO-certified business and manufacturing operations take place in a modern 145,000 square-foot facility in Peosta, Iowa. Bodine motors and gearmotors are found in machines designed for medical imaging, laboratory testing, food service, factory automation, packaging, farm automation, material handling in warehouses, welding & metal fabrication, and chemical pumping for the oil & gas industry. Bodine Electric Company’s small, black gearmotors have often been copied, but our reliability, quiet operation and unsurpassed quality have never been duplicated. Bodine motors are available as AC single-phase, AC three-phase, brushed DC, and brushless DC. Many include a brake/encoder accessory shaft. We offer parallel shaft gearmotors with spur, helical or planetary gearing, and right angle gearmotors with worm, worm/helical or hypoid gearing. Many right-angle gearheads feature hollow output shafts. Many of Bodine’s 1,500 standard models are stocked for immediate delivery from our Iowa warehouse, with most others delivered within 6 weeks. Our engineers can design a custom product for higher volume OEM applications. | Since 1905, the family-owned Bodine Electric Company has been the leader in small motor and gearmotor design and manufacturing, helping thousands of OEM customers solve motion control challenges when designing their machinery. B&R Industrial Automation

B&R Industrial Automation, a member of the ABB Group, is redefining what is possible in machine and factory automation. The company gives system integrators, OEMs, and project-driven organizations the performance, openness, and engineering efficiency they need to deliver successful automation solutions. At the center of B&R’s approach is a unified automation architecture that combines powerful control, flexible I/O, intuitive HMI, motion, and integrated safety in one cohesive environment. For integrators, this means fewer platforms to manage, faster commissioning, and simplified lifecycle support. This helps projects stay on schedule, on budget, and aligned with customer requirements. The B&R ecosystem is one of the most comprehensive automation portfolios available today. It brings together machine vision, robotics, digital twin simulation, condition monitoring, and advanced mechatronic conveyance systems. This creates a flexible platform that SIs can configure, scale, and reuse across diverse industries. It reduces engineering hours, minimizes risk, and supports the standardization of best practices across projects. This unified environment is the foundation of adaptive manufacturing: systems that adjust in real time to production changes, workforce constraints, and evolving customer expectations. For integrators, this results in more robust architectures, higher project success rates, and long-term customer satisfaction without sacrificing speed, accuracy, or performance. B&R’s robotics portfolio, which includes Codian delta and SCARA robots, integrates seamlessly into the same control platform. This enables synchronized motion, high-speed handling, and effortless deployment without the need to manage multiple vendors, controllers, or communication layers. Open mechanical designs and hygienic options give integrators the flexibility required for project-specific needs while still leveraging a consistent engineering environment. Partner with B&R to elevate your automation projects. Let’s collaborate to build smarter, more adaptive machines and systems together. | B&R Industrial Automation, a member of the ABB Group, is a global leader in automation solutions for mobile machinery. With rugged, IP67 and IP69K-rated systems, such as the X90 platform and Power Panel HMIs, B&R delivers reliable control, visualization, and safety in harsh environments. Their technology supports autonomous functions, electrification, and seamless connectivity via CAN, Ethernet, and OPC UA. Designed for agriculture, construction, and municipal vehicles, B&R’s compact, integrated systems reduce complexity while boosting performance.
