Hurst Engineered Advanced Technologies (HEAT) LLC
HEAT is a veteran-owned design and fabrication firm focused on transforming the utility of the American pickup truck. We design and manufacture truck bed utility skids based on our rugged steel frame and proprietary technology that enables users to quickly deploy pickup trucks with the specialized gear required for a particular situation. Some applications include, but are not limited to wildland firefighting equipment, fuel transfer tanks, and mobile automated barrier systems. At the heart of HEAT’s proprietary system is a truck bed utility skid base that can be rapidly mounted and de-mounted from a pickup truck bed without the use of a forklift, crane, or other heavy equipment. Skids are highly configurable to the individual needs and demands of emergency response teams. This design provides greater flexibility and quicker responses for both departments and rescue personnel.
