G.A.S. is a German high-tech company founded in 1997 manufacturing analytical instrumentation that are based on a unique coupling of gas chromatography with ion mobility spectrometry (GC-IMS). Using this hybrid set-up G.A.S. succeeds in measuring traces (down to the low / sub-ppb) of volatile organic compounds (VOC) even in complex matrices like air, the headspace of liquids and solids and in human breath. The merge of GC’s selectivity with the outstanding sensitivity of IMS plus diverse and customized sampling systems enable edge-cutting and innovative analytical solutions. The interdisciplinary team develops, manufactures and adapts its generic GC-IMS technology platform according to the analytical questions of its global customer base and offers a user-friendly analytical software to handle the 3-D GCxIMS data. Tailor-made solutions that are applied in the lab, but are also transfered to in-line/on-site solutions with significantly reduced complexity make up G.A.S. track record. Site/production personnel enjoy operating the analyzers which are configured individually for each application’s requirement applying ’one-click‘ same as remote and fully automatically 24/7 operation with standard data output protocols (current loop, MODBUS, etc)
