MIAS provides general contractors and system integrators with the best possible support when it comes to load handling attachments and stacker cranes in intralogistics. From finding and developing a solution to production and implementation right through to service and maintenance. The origins of the company go back to a traditional locksmith’s – the family business Büttner Stahl- und Maschinenbau founded in 1947 in Munich, Germany. MIAS as material handling expert, in its current form came into being in 1985. Since 1989, MIAS has been steadily working toward expansion into international markets. In 2015, MIAS was purchased by Jungheinrich AG, where it has continued as an independent brand. Today the company employs more than 500 employees at four locations and, as an OEM, supplies stacker cranes and telescopic forks to customers all over the world. MIAS Inc. Material Handling was found in 2006, as a subsidiary of the MIAS Group. It is located in Charlotte, NC from where we support our North American clients.

Matex is a leading Gear Reducer manufacturer from Osaka, Japan, founded in 1921. Our main focus is set on designing, developing, and manufacturing Gear Reducers, including Planetary Gear Modules and Gearboxes, to a world-class standard. Matex is most well-known for its caseless Planetary Gear Reducer, a unique product dubbed the Planetary Gear Module. Its compact and sleek design allows for easy integration into any custom gearbox, while our innovative structure reduces excess noise significantly. With a standard lineup of outer diameter sizes ranging from 26mm to 200mm, and output torque numbers ranging from 0.8Nm to 1300Nm, these Planetary Gear Modules cover a wide range of applications. Yet, our standard products only make up one part of Matex’s various capabilities. Over 80% of Matex’s Gear Reducer sales are semi-custom or custom designs. Matex tirelessly prioritizes customer requirements, providing full support from design to mass production. We have a well-proven track record designing, developing, and manufacturing tailored custom Gear Reducers in a wide range of fields. In the United States alone, Matex has contributed to a space agency moon rover (aeronautical), EOD robots (defense), vaccine pumps (medical), and electric pumps (manufacturing), among many other examples. Matex owns 3 mass-production facilities in Japan, the Philippines, and China, ensuring a reliable supply line and competitive pricing. We can also flexibly respond to commissioned development, manufacturing, and assembly of other mechanical parts such as Electric Actuators, Power Units, Pumps, and Injection Molded Plastic Parts, so feel free to consult us on any project proposal. Lumafield
Lumafield is comprised of engineers with deep experience across the product development cycle, from initial ideas to shipping hardware, across industries and specializations, who became frustrated by the cost and complexity of modern manufacturing. We started with industrial CT scanning, which for us was the most valuable but underutilized tool in the manufacturing toolbox, enabling us to rapidly inspect essential components non-destructively. We rebuilt the whole system, from X-ray capture, to computer vision analysis, to web-based collaboration, to the entire business model, making the most advanced manufacturing tech more accessible to every industry. | Lumafield was founded in 2019 to upgrade manufacturing. We are engineers with deep experience across the product development cycle, from initial ideas to shipping hardware, across industries and specializations, who became frustrated by the cost and complexity of modern manufacturing. So we decided to upgrade it. | Lumafield was founded in 2019 by a team of engineers with experience in designing, manufacturing, and shipping products with global impacts. Their firsthand experience going from first sketches to mass manufacturing highlighted a major gap in the product development process. While products and fabrication technologies had become more complex and sophisticated, the debugging tools that engineers used to solve their design problems were stuck in the 19th century. Engineers can only do their best work when they have access to the best tools. When engineers are at their best, the products they deliver are more functional, cost-effective, and sustainable. Lumafield empowers engineers to see their work in a new light with the power of X-ray vision. | Lumafield was founded in 2019 to upgrade manufacturing. We are engineers with deep experience across the product development cycle, from initial ideas to shipping hardware, across industries and specializations, who became frustrated by the cost and complexity of modern manufacturing.
