We specialize in the manufacture of machinery for the engineered flooring industry, including gluers, frame saws and band saw grinding machines. Ogden Group imports, manufactures and distributes the Thin-cutting frame saws and the ReMax 500 CNC Horizontal Re-Saw for industries producing sawn veneer products. The newest addition to the press line is the Continuous PUR press for the production of engineered flooring. Most recently, Ogden Group has developed a manufacturing method that replaces plywood with a solid core substrate. The core substrate consists of a 2-ply construction – a rotary-peeled or sawn veneer bottom layer and a top layer of sticks that are gang-ripped from 4/4 low-grade lumber. The wear layer is then applied on top of the core substrate. Based on a 2′ x 8′ panel, the system can produce approximately 30,000 sq. ft. of substrate core per shift. Also, for the flooring industry, Ogden produces the DRS Wood Repair System that repairs knots, cracks and other defects using a durable filling solution. Veneer Forming Systems for the manufacture of radial components are also produced and distributed to industries pressing and laminating veneers into half-round, arch and elliptical shapes.
