Particles removed include sand, rust, gravel, algae, pollen, silt, microbiological growth, bugs, scale, and mussels. The filters are supplied with stainless steel screens ranging from 5-3000 microns and are constructed from stainless steel or epoxy coated carbon steel, fitting line sizes ranging from ½ inch to 36 inches. Single filters handle flow rates up to 12,000 GPM and multiple units can be banked to handle unlimited flows. The automatic, self-cleaning cycle is line pressure powered, takes only seconds, does not interrupt system flow and allows for minimal maintenance of the filter.
