In May 1971 Ron Tamlyn, Sr. and his wife Jean borrowed $800 and began the company in a small shack in the back yard of their modest home in Bellaire, Texas. Ron Tamlyn, Sr. was the company’s president from 1971 until his son, Tom Tamlyn, took the reins as president in 1990. TAMLYN has become a multi-million dollar, international business with a full product line to match. Tom Tamlyn retired in late 2022 and Miguel Gonzales now serves as CEO and President. The infiltration of moisture can lead to structural deterioration, shorten the life of exterior claddings and paints, while also fostering mold and rot which will harm the structure and pose health hazards.
