A small company started its activities in 1954, in Caxias do Sul. Called Mecânica São Luiz, by Susin Francescutti & Cia., the workshop had an area of only 80 m². In 1957 the organization was named Susin Francescutti & Cia., with a focus on repairing stationary gasoline and diesel engines. There were no spare parts at the time and the partners understood that they should manufacture the items. They produced valves, pistons, rings, crankshafts, blocks, heads, among others. Shortly thereafter, they stopped repairing and manufacturing engines and devoted themselves to repairing and manufacturing crankshafts for all types of engines. The crankshaft and camshaft are items manufactured by Susin Francescutti to this day, together with several high-tech products for the most demanding global markets. In its history, Susin Francescutti has conquered national and international recognition in the attributes of quality, tradition, technology and trust.
