One of the primary uses of Vincent presses is waste from food processing facilities. The purpose is to separate the water from the waste. This allows the water (press liquor) to be treated or sent to sewer. The solids (press cake) going to landfill or for animal feed are typically reduced in volume and weight by 50%. The Series KP presses are extremely affordable and successful in this application. The Vincent Fiber Filter is used to “clean up” a dilute flow in these same facilities to reduce BOD impact.
