Capybara Coffee Company
Latina owned & operated since 2024, we are two best friends with several years experience as amateur home roasters for personal consumption. A big part of our friendship has been bonding over our South American heritage – together we studied abroad in Argentina and traveled across South America to experience the unique cultures and customs of each region. We’re also serious about keeping our carbon footprint low and using eco-friendly, fair trade products whenever we can. With encouraging reviews of our home roasting from friends and family, we are combining our passion for great coffee with socially and environmentally responsible business practices.
Cafe Joyeux
Café Joyeux is an international family of café-restaurants and coffee brand that trains and employs people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to promote inclusion through work, training, and meaningful social interaction. Today, we employ 220 crew members (employees with disabilities) across 32 café-restaurants in France, Portugal, Belgium, and the USA. In March 2024, we opened our first U.S. location in New York City with its 15 crew members.

We took our love for specialty coffee, and our desire to create small local entrepreneurs in coffee-growing countries, and we decided to start our journey. Searching for more unique opportunities to expand. Sourcing coffee strains that others weren’t noticing. Creating coffee varieties that do not yet exist. We offer both roasted and unroasted award winning coffee from around the world. | We started Cafe Kreyol in 2013 in order to create sustainable employment in Haiti, using specialty grade, organic coffee. We continue that practice by growing to work with over 10,000 farmers in over a dozen countries. We offer our specialty coffee green, or freshly roasted from our facility in Virginia.
