Plasmatreat North America Inc.
Plasmatreat has been a global leader in atmospheric plasma technology for over 25 years, developing innovative solutions for surface pretreatment and activation. Our Openair-Plasma® technology is used across nearly every industry, including HEV and EV battery manufacturing, enabling efficient and automated production processes. In advanced battery systems, stacks of interconnected cells are housed in acid-resistant materials such as modified plastics used for coating, joining, and sealing—materials that are notoriously difficult to process. Openair-Plasma® pretreatment efficiently activates these challenging surfaces, ensuring reliable bonding and sealing. Co-exhibiting with KRÜSS, a global leader in surface and interfacial science instrumentation, visitors can explore how precise surface analysis and plasma activation work together. KRÜSS’s contact angle and surface energy measurement solutions complement plasma treatment by validating surface quality and process reliability. Together, Plasmatreat and KRÜSS support high-speed, high-volume manufacturing of next-generation batteries and fuel cells. | Faced with rising material costs, tariff pressures, and the need for reliable performance, manufacturers are turning to plasma technology to improve efficiency and reduce risk.Plasmatreat is a global leader in atmospheric plasma systems for surface pretreatment and activation.
