Third Party Payment Processors Association (TPPPA)
The Third Party Payment Processors Association (TPPPA) is a national not-for-profit industry association formed in 2013 to represent and promote the interests of payment processors, their financial institutions, and their merchants. TPPPA members are payment processors, banks, merchants, and vendors. We believe that organizations should be able to support any legal product, service, or industry, if these organizations can demonstrate that they have effective compliance management systems in place. The TPPPA was formed to provide companies with a pathway to pursue the legal business opportunities of their choice. We do this through advocacy, leadership and support on behalf of our members, and the payments industry. We encourage you to join the TPPPA. Membership provides your company with tools, resources and ongoing support to navigate the ever-changing payments landscape. For more information on the TPPPA and/or membership, please contact us at membership@tpppa.org.

Our mission is to help organizations confidently navigate an increasingly complex payments environment while staying compliant, informed, and prepared for what is next. PaymentsFirst supports payments professionals at every stage of their careers. Our team collectively holds more than 50 industry accreditations, including AAP, APRP, AFPP, and NCP, allowing us to provide knowledgeable, practical support across ACH, checks, cards, instant payments, fraud mitigation, and regulatory compliance. Members often view PaymentsFirst as an extension of their internal payments team, offering guidance when questions arise and helping institutions make informed decisions. Education is a cornerstone of what we do. PaymentsFirst offers a robust calendar of live and on-demand education throughout the year, including webinars, boot camps, Payments Universities, and multi-day conferences. Our Education Package Plan allows member institutions to efficiently train their teams through flexible, seat-based access to eligible sessions, ensuring consistent education without the administrative burden of registering individuals for each event. In addition to education, PaymentsFirst fosters collaboration and industry dialogue through committees and working groups focused on emerging issues, including ACH Fraud Monitoring, rule changes, and new payment rails. These forums give members the opportunity to learn from peers, share best practices, and engage directly in conversations shaping the future of payments. At the Nacha Conference, PaymentsFirst looks forward to connecting with fellow payments professionals, financial institutions, and industry partners. We value meaningful conversations about operational challenges, regulatory changes, and innovation across the payments landscape. Whether you are looking for education, compliance support, peer collaboration, or a trusted payments partner, PaymentsFirst is committed to supporting your success today and into the future.
