Similar to well-known caddie scholarships, our goal is to educate and engage golfers, club members, facility leadership, companies, and more to become part of the solution to the declining pipeline of future industry leaders. Through our events, corporate partnerships, individual donor programs, and National Advocate Clubs program, we raise money to help eliminate the financial barrier for students pursuing further education in agronomy and turfgrass management. The Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA) is a nonprofit trade association of the world’s foremost golf course builders and leading suppliers to the golf course construction industry. It was founded in the early 1970s, and its members represent all segments of the golf course construction industry. It is the only organization in the world organized by and for golf course builders, and the only organization that represents the interests of the golf course construction industry. The Association also endeavors to provide comprehensive programs and services to construction contractors and specialists in regard to the changing regulations and technology of golf course construction. Mission Statement: The Golf Course Builders Association of America is dedicated to advancing and continuously improving the profession of golf course construction while serving the interests of its member companies.
Florida GCSA
The purpose of the Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association shall be to promote sustainable turf management and unify the golf course superintendents of the state. To achieve these goals, the Florida GCSA will engage in cooperative communications and education efforts with various interested organizations and regulatory and governmental offices to achieve the highest standards of professionalism. The Florida GCSA consists of eleven local chapters, each of which is represented on the Florida GCSA Board of Directors. Membership in the Florida GCSA is automatically extended to all Class A, SM and C members who are members of one of the local chapters. There is no Commercial member category in the Florida GCSA.
