(RPM Tech) RPM Tech, a brand of Alamo Group Snow & Ice Team, is renowned for design and manufacture of track cleaning and snow/ice removal equipment such as cold air blowers, and swingloader snow blower attachments for the maintenance of switches, crossings, railroad yards, and tracks. Famous for its AF1 cold air blowers used to clear snow, ice, and debris off switches tracks, and third rails. The AF1 blows ambient air at speed of up to 525 mph (850 km/h) to blast away hard pack snow or remove debris in seconds. Within the safety of the cabin, a single operator controls the unit operation.
