Its proprietary, patented Licerion® technology addresses the key barriers to mass electric vehicle adoption - range, cost, and charge time - by solving the primary failure mode of lithium metal batteries: dendrite formation. By unlocking the potential of lithium metal, Licerion® enables up to double the energy density of today’s graphite and silicon anode solutions and is projected to reduce the cost of a 200 kWh pack by approximately 35%, through both material savings and a lower cell count.
