About
About Recover™ Central America Recover Central America is Recover’s joint venture with Intradeco, bringing Recover’s proprietary recycled cotton fiber technology closer to textile hubs in the CAFTA region to accelerate circularity and scale the adoption of recycled cotton fiber across the Western Hemisphere, enabling large-scale sustainable change in fashion. Recover™ is a materials science company specializing in the mechanical recycling of cotton‑rich textile waste into high‑quality recycled cotton fibers and fiber blends. With more than 75 years of experience in textile recycling, the company supports the transition of the fashion and textile industry toward more circular and resource‑efficient production models. Recover’s core activity consists of transforming textile waste from post‑industrial and post‑consumer origins into recycled cotton fibers that can be reintegrated into mainstream textile supply chains. Using a proprietary mechanical recycling process, textile waste is cut, treated, and mechanically shredded to obtain individual fibers that are subsequently sorted and conditioned for spinning. This process uses minimal water and chemicals and avoids solvents, allowing recycled fibers to be produced at industrial scale with consistent quality. The company’s product portfolio includes recycled cotton fibers and optimized fiber blends designed for compatibility with both open‑end and ring‑spun yarn technologies. These fibers are used across a wide range of applications, including apparel, accessories, and home textiles, enabling brands and manufacturers to increase recycled content in finished products while maintaining performance and process stability. Top products and services include: 1. RCotton: 100% pure and unblended recycled cotton fiber, suitable for overdyeing. Available in white and ecru or custom colors. RCotton can be used in a wide variety of apparel, accessories and home textiles products such as: knits (10-50% RCotton), flat knits (20-50% RCotton), Woven (20-40% RCotton) or Denim (25-40% RCotton) 2. Unblended Recover™ recycled cotton fiber from post-industrial and pre and post-consumer denim waste. RDenim maintains the indigo color and can be used accross all denim applications for a truly circular denim industry. 3. Recover™ Lab Services, an ISO 17025‑accredited laboratory service created to address the lack of standardized, fiber‑level testing for recycled materials. Recover™ Lab Services provides reliable, independent quality and composition testing for recycled and virgin fibers, supporting accuracy, traceability, and trust across textile supply chains and helping brands and manufacturers meet increasing regulatory and sustainability requirements. Recover™ operates according to a proximity‑based industrial model, locating recycling operations close to both textile waste sources and manufacturing hubs. Its recycling facilities are located in Spain, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and El Salvador, and the company collaborates with a global network of textile waste sorters and collectors. This distributed footprint allows Recover™ to integrate efficiently into complex global supply chains while ensuring traceability, scalability, and consistency in fiber quality. Beyond fiber production, Recover™ works closely with brands, retailers, and supply‑chain partners to support the practical integration of recycled materials into products. This includes collaboration on product development, guidance on recycled‑content implementation, and support on sustainability communication and evolving textile legislation. Recover™’s fibers are third‑party certified and produced under high environmental and social standards, GRS and ISO 9001 certified.
