About Maia Medical Billing Maia is solving medical billing for orthopedic private practices. Today, ortho practices struggle with underbilling and overbilling, costing them over 10% of their revenue and millions in administrative overhead handling payer denials. We've built Maia to be an AI ‘brain’ that bills faster and more accurately than a human. Maia considers all 11k CPT codes and 950k billing rules as well as payer-specific and client-specific rules, making the AI much more powerful and accurate than a human coder.
