About Liberty Hill Outfitters Liberty Hill Outfitters, founded by Stephen Crancer and Co-Owned by his daughter Marla Crancer, is a family owned and operated upland bird preserve in Rector, Arkansas. The 900+ acre property, located 5 miles north of Rector and was acquired back in 1948 by Stephen’s grandfather, the late Jewel Marlar. Liberty Hill Outfitters offers various guided hunts including upland quail, chukar, and pheasant, as well as Corporate European style tower hunts. Located on the property is our newly renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom lodge, a cook house, and 4 ponds stocked with bass, catfish, brim, and crappie. We also have added a 4-bedroom, 2-bath lodge that sleeps 8. We look forward to seeing you at Liberty Hill Outfitters where “we make memories.”
