About Jamestown Plastics Inc. About Jamestown Plastics, Inc. Jamestown Plastics serves customers with expertise in both light- and heavy-gauge thermoforming. Since 1958 we’ve been solving customers’ problems with innovative approaches to product design, engineering, and production. We work with most thermoformable materials in thicknesses from 0.005” (0.127mm) to 0.5” (12.7mm). Parts can be made up to 30” x 60” with our in-line production and up to 5’ x 10’ with single station and rotary machines. One patented solution is Clamtainer®, our reusable frustration-free clamshell that solves concerns with single-use and sustainability. It is also a great solution for products that require Certified Child Resistant packaging. We work in a variety of industries, including: • Automotive – interior/exterior appliques; dunnage trays/systems; aftermarket merchandising • Medical – packaging; trays; organization and storage products • Electronics – ESD and conductive packaging; trays; radomes; and housings • Consumer Goods – clamshells, blisters, POP displays • General Industrial – dunnage trays; shrouds; and totes As a Made in the USA manufacturer, our QMS guides our work and supports the ISO 9001 certification we’ve held since 2004. As of 2024, we join the small, but growing, number of USA-based companies with ISO 13485 certification. This additional commitment supports our Class 7 and 8 clean room facilities serving the medical/healthcare industry.
