About
About iN Therapeutics ## Overview ## iN Therapeutics is a clinical-stage South Korean biotechnology company dedicated to discovering and developing "First-in-Class" and "Best-in-Class" ion channel modulators. As a spin-off from Daewoong Pharmaceutical, we combine the agility of a biotech with the robust R&D infrastructure of a major pharmaceutical group. Our mission is to address significant unmet medical needs in Central Nervous System (CNS) and chronic pain disorders by delivering highly selective and safe ion channel therapies. ## Core Technology: The VITVO™ Platform ## At the heart of our innovation is VITVO™, our proprietary ion channel drug discovery platform. Historically, ion channel drug discovery has been hindered by the "efficacy-toxicity trade-off" due to poor subtype selectivity. VITVO™ overcomes this challenge through: • Proprietary Compound Library: A vast collection of ion channel-specific chemical scaffolds. • Advanced Electrophysiology: High-throughput screening (HTS) and sophisticated patching techniques that ensure high-fidelity in vitro-in vivo correlation. • Precision Targeting: Achieving unprecedented subtype selectivity (e.g., Nav1.7 vs. Nav1.5) to eliminate off-target side effects and maximize the safety margin. ## Key Pipeline Assets ## iN Therapeutics is advancing a diverse and robust pipeline of innovative therapies: 1. Aneratrigine (iN1011-N17) | Target: Nav1.7 (Non-opioid Analgesic) • Indication: Pain • Achievement: Successfully demonstrated exceptional selectivity and efficacy, leading to a $500+ million global licensing deal. This asset represents our ability to tackle high-difficulty targets and translate them into significant commercial value. 2. iN3011-K23 | Target: Kv7.2/7.3 Activator • Indication: Focal Epilepsy and Neuropathic Pain. • Competitive Edge: Unlike traditional anti-seizure medications that often cause drowsiness through GABAergic pathways, Aneratrigine offers a "Clean Profile." It focuses solely on Kv7.2/7.3 channels, aiming for superior efficacy without the typical CNS side effects, thereby significantly improving patient quality of life. 3. iN4011-KC2 | Target: KCC2 (First-in-Class) • Indication: Epilepsies and Neurological Disorders. • Vision: Targeting the fundamental mechanism of chloride homeostasis in the brain to treat refractory neurological conditions. 4. Nav 1.2/1.6 Inhibitor | Target: Dual Selective Inhibition • Indication: Epilepsy. • Strategy: Developing highly selective inhibitors to treat genetic epilepsies while avoiding cardiac and peripheral toxicities. ## Partnership & Track Record ## We are a proven partner in the global licensing market. Our landmark $500+M deal for the Nav1.7 program highlights our excellence in asset development and alliance management. We are actively seeking strategic partnerships for our preclinical-stage assets, including Kv7.2/7.3 Activator, and are open to collaborative research opportunities utilizing our VITVO™ platform. ## Vision for BIO USA 2026 ## At BIO USA 2026, iN Therapeutics seeks to engage with global pharmaceutical leaders, investors, and research institutions to discuss licensing-out opportunities, co-development strategies, and the future of ion channel-based medicine. We invite you to explore how our "Ion Channel Frontiers" are reshaping the landscape of CNS and Pain therapy.
