About FSHD Global Research Foundation FacioScapuloHumoral (FSH) Muscular Dystrophy Global Research Foundation (“FSHD-GRF”) . FSHD-GRF is Australia’s peak body for FSH muscular dystrophy, and leading advocate representing FSH muscular dystrophy patients, their carers and family member. Established in 2007, FSHD-GRF is a not-for-profit, registered charity that directs up to 80% of donations to advancing research, investing in enabling technologies and the infrastructure required to establish clinical trials in Australia, all in the service of finding a cure for FSH muscular dystrophy. FSHD-GRF represents Australia to global muscular dystrophy societies with a common cause, it collaborates with the world’s leading researchers, biotech’s, and communities to find a cure for FSH muscular dystrophy, and to improve muscle regeneration, function and wellness. FSHD-GRF represents the patient voice, contributing to the strategic direction and design of research projects commercialized by FACIO BioTherapies Pty Limited, a biotech that is focused on discovering and developing treatments, diagnostics and biomarkers for FSHD.
