The Fonds de solidarité FTQ invests to build a better society by channeling the savings of its 753,125 shareholders into development and risk capital investments to help Québec transition to a green economy, to a human-centred world of work, and to a healthier society. With CA$17.8 billion in net assets as of November 30, 2022, the Fonds supports more than 3,600 partner companies across all sectors of the economy, including Life Sciences. In Life Sciences, it’s on average CA$100 M invested per year in a diversified portfolio that contributes to the economic development of Quebec. The Fonds invests in biotechnology companies centered on breakthrough therapies and in specialized venture capital funds.
