Founded in 2020 , DePoly has developed a proprietary chemical recycling process that operates at room temperature and standard pressure. This innovative method breaks down unsorted and contaminated PET waste—including multilayer packaging and blended textiles—into its original monomers: purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and mono-ethylene glycol (MEG). These monomers are then used to produce new, virgin-quality PET products, effectively closing the loop in the plastic lifecycle without relying on fossil fuels.
