About CORMATEX SRL -TEXTILE MACHINERY AND LINES Cormatex is an Italian textile machinery manufacturer operating on the international markets for more than 35 years. The company has diversified its own production, becoming a leader in customized solutions for the following two sectors: • Woollen spinning • Nonwoven The corporate approach of Cormatex is absolutely “Green”. We firmly believe in Circular Economy and in a near future where any industrial production cannot only rely on virgin raw materials consumption but also reusing and recycling waste materials and end of life products. The main focus of our technology development in the last 15 years has been around a special technology, called Airlay Lap Formair, that is capable of making non-woven products, starting not only from virgin materials, but mainly focusing on recycled waste and different type of EoL products. The extreme versatility of our technology allows us to deal with any type of non-conventional waste material from very short fibres to powders ecc. In 2008 Cormatex has opened its R&D Center where an Airlay line has been installed, including all the special technologies the company developed for nonwoven production. The line includes an Opening and Blending section, a Forming section that includes two Airlay systems “Lap formair V” and “Lap formair H” and a Bonding section that consists of a Thermobonding Oven and a Needle Punching machine, followed by our Longitudinal and Cross Cutting machine.
