About Westlakes Engineering The Attraction Safety Department at Westlakes Engineering carry out in-service and pre-use inspections on theme park attractions for some of the largest theme parks operators in the world. They are able to provide approval and certification to various suites of technical standards including EN, DIN, JIS, GB and ASTM. The Attraction Safety Department are a UKAS accredited inspection body No. 27693. Accredited as Type C in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020:2012
