About Versah Versah was founded in 2014 by Dr Salah Huwais, a practicing periodontist. He developed the procedure called Osseodensification, a novel biomechanics bone preparation technique, achieved by his proprietary instruments he invented- the Densah Burs. The Densah burs are precisely engineered to autograft bone along the entire length of the osteotomy when rotated in reverse at 1000 rpm through a hydrodynamic process of irrigation. The result is a consistently cylindrical and densified osteotomy. Unlike traditional dental drilling techniques, Osseodensification does not excavate bone tissue. Rather, bone tissue is simultaneously compacted and autografted in outwardly expanding direction from the osteotomy, somewhat akin to a traditional hammered osteotome, but without the trama and other limitations.
